Personal Trainer Betsy Mendel has designed a 30-minute circuit training workout designed to exercise every muscle in your body. Circuit training works because it's short and sweet… and people actually do it. You’ll start with short bursts of resistance exercise using moderate weights and frequent repetitions, followed quickly by another exercise targeting a different muscle group. Because you switch between muscle groups, no rest is needed between exercises. This gets (and keeps) your heart rate up. 
Betsy’s circuit workout improves both strength and endurance, and jump-starts metabolism.  As a matter of fact, you will still be burning calories after you leave the class – and this goes on for hours. Once you build muscle, muscle burns more calories than fat so you will become a mean, lean, fat-burning machine.
Class meets Monday through Thursday at Ocean and Idaho (Palisades Park in Santa Monica).  Check website for class times.  Reservations are required.
